October 1984 - YAMAHA - THE NEXT PHAZE?This Is The Yamaha Proto That The Dealers Got A Sneak Peak This Past Summer.
The proto appears to have the same Yamaha long travel rear suspension as The Phazer and possibly the same telescopic Strut front suspension. The shroud configuration seems to allow for a perky 250-300cc liquid cooled power plant. The seat material and form appear to be designed for comfort, sit ability, stability and of course, graphic beauty.
When will the brand new snowmobile beam down to your local dealer's showroom? We may see it as soon as next year....or maybe never. Yamaha isn't saying !
