1976 RUPP NITRO

For 1976, Rupp Industries completely re-designed it's Rupp Nitro.  It had a all new body design and all new engines. Featuring the 340 and 440 twin cylinder liquid cooled Xenoah power plants, with the 440 rated at 80 horsepower.

1975 SKIDOO OLYMPIQUE

The Ski-Doo Olympique has been in existence since 1962.  In 1975 Ski-Doo made some changes for the better.
The 1975 Ski-Doo Olympique 300 has a new 340cc High-Torque twin cylinder fan cooled engine. The Olympique 340 also featured a Torque Reaction slide suspension and a new "Instant Torque" drive pulley and all 1975 Olympiques were available with electric start.

1986 POLARIS STAR TWINS

Polaris Industries introduced two new Polaris Star twin sleds in 1986.
The twins featured a 340cc fan cooled engine with CDI ignition, oil injection, 5.4 gallon fuel tank, Polaris long travel rear suspension and leaf spring shock absorber front suspension. They are102 inches long with a 15 inch track.
The Star Twin weighed 340 pounds and The ES version 370 pounds. The Star Twin ES offered factory installed electric start and came with speedometer and tach. Both sleds were dressed in bright red with gold accents.

UNI-SLED SEASON WORKHORSE

1981 - Originally designed by Bill Rauch of Ely, Mn as a snowmobile-towed "firewood" sled.This little workhorse had grown into a year-round freighter sled.
The sled's skis are permanent and the companion Wheel Kit quickly adapted the unit for summer use.  The 48 pound metal sled came with both the wheel kit and pattern instructions for a 2 foot x 4 foot box to further expand its uses. It has a load capacity of 600 pounds.
For all these snowmobile hauling chores, the Minnesota-made freighter may be the answer.
