1981 - Originally designed by Bill Rauch of Ely, Mn as a snowmobile-towed "firewood" sled. This little workhorse had grown into a year-round freighter sled.
The sled's skis are permanent and the companion Wheel Kit quickly adapted the unit for summer use. The 48 pound metal sled came with both the wheel kit and pattern instructions for a 2 foot x 4 foot box to further expand its uses. It has a load capacity of 600 pounds.
For all these snowmobile hauling chores, the Minnesota-made freighter may be the answer.
