Rapid City Journal - March 22, 2014
March 31st marks the official end of the season for the statewide snowmobile trail system.
Black Hills Trails District Supervisor says grooming operations began in full force on the season opener and crews have been consistently grooming throughout the season. Grooming operations will continue as long as snow conditions allow until March 31st.
The program is funded by snowmobile users through license registration fees, fuel tax reimbursement and an excise tax of the sale of snowmobiles
This blog is all about snowmobiles from the 1960's thru the 1980's. The daily posts will feature stories, ads or press releases for a classic snowmobile during that period from various snowmobile magazines and other publications during that period in snowmobile history. Save this blog and view it on a regular basis. You never know, you may see your favorite classic sled featured here !
