John Deere's Claims For 1982 - The key word was  in Deeres lineup of its 1982 sleds as "lightweight." The use of new high-technology materials had Deeres engineers claiming to have the lightest weight line of snowmobiles in the industry.
   Deere believed in light, easy-to-handle sleds,and promised to cure any "back-breaking-blues"you may have suffered in the past.
